At Coppice Primary Partnership (CPP), we believe great schools change lives – for every child, through every school, in partnership.

After revisiting the mission, the core purpose, of our trust over the past six months, we now have a clear mission which reflects why CPP was created and why we believe what we do:

Every child grows culturally and academically through excellence in education, as we empower unique schools to thrive together in partnership - championing collaboration and celebrating individuality.

To go alongside our revised mission, we also have a new vision, or as we are calling it, our ‘crazy goal’. This is something we are aiming for which we believe raises the bar in all areas of school life. Our crazy goal is:

For our children and staff to help us become a net-positive for the world, giving back more energy, knowledge and service than we use.

Day to day, that means asking a simple question, or mantra, about every choice we make:

"Will it give back more than it takes?"

But when you have a crazy goal, achieving success can seem far away. To support movement towards the goal, we need to translate our crazy goals into realistic chunks which drive us forwards. We have identified five strategic pillars, all playing their part.

1. Giving every child the highest-quality education;

2. Helping our staff grow and lead;

3. Working with families and communities to widen opportunity;

4. Looking after our people, places and planet; and

5. Using technology to support learning and life
